PASSIONFLOWER
The passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is traditionally native to East India and tropical Central and South America. It was used as a medicinal herb by the Aztecs as early as the 16th century. The plant's main components are essential oils, flavonoids, and coumarins. Constituents such as essential oils and tannins have a soothing effect. They are said to have a calming effect.

PHYTOCERAMIDE
Ceramides are lipids (fats) naturally found in the skin. They connect the skin's surface cells within the skin barrier, thus protecting against environmental toxins and pathogens. They also ensure that the skin remains well-hydrated and appears plump and firm. With age, ceramide levels in the skin decrease. As a result, the skin loses elasticity and becomes more permeable. This loss can be compensated for by taking dietary supplements. Phytoceramides derived from organic wheat extract are particularly well-suited for this purpose. Bio-Lipowheat™ (gluten-free organic wheat extract) is a unique complex of concentrated phytoceramides, obtained through a patented process, and proven to help the skin retain moisture and reduce visible wrinkles.
