RECIPE: AUTUMNAL SPELT SEMOLINA PORRIDGE

Ahhhh, September! Autumn is slowly arriving here with its golden light, fresh breeze, and falling leaves. But it's not just the leaves that are falling; so is the temperature on the thermometer. This makes it all the more important that we nourish our bodies with healthy nutrients! Your meals can now be more substantial than in summer. We have a healthy autumn breakfast recipe for you that will really whet your appetite for the golden season.

OUR FAVORITE BREAKFAST IN AUTUMN

The base of this porridge is a combination of spelt semolina and oat flakes, which not only provides you with plenty of long-chain carbohydrates but also plant-based protein. This keeps you full for longer and gives you plenty of energy. And we all love fruit as a topping, right? To make breakfast especially gut-friendly (and incredibly delicious), we've roasted it for this recipe. Trust us, not only will your stomach be happy in the morning, but your palate will too.

INGREDIENTS

base

  • 40 g spelt semolina
  • 20 g oat flakes
  • 10 g flaxseed
  • 2 capsules BEAUTY X HYALURON
  • 250 ml plant milk (we love oat milk, for example)
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (optional)

Possible toppings

  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 3 plums, halved and pitted
  • 2 figs
  • 1 handful of nuts of your choice
  • Coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring the plant milk to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (spelt semolina, oat flakes, seeds & BEAUTY X HYALURON ) and add to the pot.
  3. Let it simmer briefly over low heat. Meanwhile, fry the toppings with a pinch of cinnamon in a little coconut oil until golden brown. Short on patience? Take this moment to take a breather and savor the aroma.
  4. Pour the creamy porridge into a bowl and garnish with the toppings of your choice.
