UPCYCLING TREND: WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR EMPTY YLUMI JARS
Upcycling is all the rage. It's sustainable and allows you to express your creativity. No wonder, since it's a shame to simply throw away beautiful jars, pots, or packaging after you've used them up. YLUMI jars are made of recyclable violet glass and can be disposed of in the glass recycling bin, but did you know that you can also reuse your empty YLUMI jars for other wonderful purposes?
UPCYCLING TREND: WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR EMPTY YLUMI JARS
The YLUMI jars are made of violet glass, making them very high-quality. Today, we'd like to show you how you can reuse these beautiful pieces after you've used up the capsules and powder. Ready for some upcycling ideas?
spice jars
Thanks to their practical size, you can easily fill the empty YLUMI jars with spices. They can be sealed airtight, preventing the spices from evaporating and ensuring a long-lasting flavor. Nuts or dried berries can also be wonderfully stored in the jars.
Decoration and storage
The jars are also suitable for storing decorative items, as holders for brushes, cosmetics or jewelry, and for collecting coins, for example.
Flowerpots/vases
The jars are also suitable as miniature flowerpots. With their shiny black color, they really make a statement. Or you can use them as a vase for short cut flowers—a real eye-catcher.
tealight holder
You can create a truly special atmosphere by lighting tea lights in the jars. We love the dim light this creates. Perfect for cozy evenings on the couch – or balmy summer nights on the balcony.
YLUMI Refill
We at YLUMI recently launched the CLEAN REFILL refill pack, the contents of which you can also easily pour into your empty jars. More refill packs are planned for the future.
As you can see, there are really no limits to your imagination when it comes to upcycling YLUMI jars.
Now we're curious: Do you have any other creative upcycling ideas? Feel free to share them with us and/or send a photo of your work to support@ylumi.de. We look forward to hearing from you!
