SLEEP IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME

Healthy sleep contributes to a healthy lifestyle just as much as a healthy diet or sufficient exercise.
Although we are becoming more aware of our bodies and paying more attention to our personal needs, the topic of sleep remains largely untouched.

Humans sleep almost 1/3 of their lives

And even if this realization seems sobering at first, it's important to remember that sleep is also an active part of a healthy life. We want to draw attention to the benefits and show you how you can benefit from good, healthy sleep, and how YLUMI can support you in this.

Between all the stress of everyday life, sleep is often neglected

The body needs a rest period in which it can regenerate.
It processes what's happened and prepares us both physically and mentally for the following day. Restful sleep also boosts the immune system and provides recovery for the heart and circulation, so we naturally feel fit again the next day.

MELATONIN

Melatonin, the so-called “sleep hormone,” is one of the main messenger substances and plays a central role in the sleep process and also regulates our day-night rhythm.

It is produced in the pineal gland of the brain from the hormone serotonin and is closely linked to the supply of light - the darker it gets, the more melatonin is released and we become tired.

If the day-night rhythm is disrupted and there is a melatonin deficiency, this can lead to sleep disturbances. This can be triggered by stress, excessive caffeine consumption, travel, but also by the blue light emitted by smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Melatonin levels can also decrease with age and lead to sleep disturbances.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE SLEEP DISORDERS?

With our SLEEP CAPSULES we have created a (unique) product made from natural raw materials to counteract sleep disorders.

Since melatonin is essential for restful sleep, it is also an important ingredient in our SLEEP CAPSULES.

Our SLEEP CAPSULES also contain other valuable ingredients such as reishi, lavender, valerian, passionflower, and lemon balm. While lavender and valerian have a calming and stress-reducing effect on the body, reishi also strengthens the immune system. Lemon balm and passionflower have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

The SLEEP CAPSULES can shorten the time it takes to fall asleep and ensure a restful sleep and thus a good start to the day.

Depending on the situation, two capsules can be taken with a large glass of water 30-60 minutes before bedtime. They can generally be combined with any other YLUMI product. However, we do not recommend taking the Sleep capsules at the same time as the Energy capsules.
