Everyone talks about it, but do we actually practice it? Self-care is on everyone's lips. Today, we'd like to tell you more about this important topic and reveal how you can establish powerful routines for more self-love in your everyday life. There's also something to win. Enjoy reading!

What exactly is self-care?

Behind the buzzword "self-care" lies the act of taking care of oneself. And this is something that is often neglected, especially in our fast-paced, stressful world. Yet it's so important to take good care of oneself – every day. It's essential not only for our professional success but also for the quality of our relationships that we develop a healthy sense of self-care and think about ourselves more often before we give everything we have to ensure the well-being of others. That's why we launched the YLUMI Self-Care Challenge.

The YLUMI Selfcare Challenge – establish powerful routines for more self-love

15 days of self-care – doesn't that sound fantastic? Now you might be thinking, "Wow, that's a nice idea, but I really don't have time for that." We promise you that the daily self-care tasks we've devised for the challenge won't take up much time. However, they're so wonderful that you'll definitely want to do them more often from now on. This way, you'll establish powerful routines for more self-love and fully tap into your power. Below, we'll go into each day in more detail and explain what you need to do.

DAY 1 – Drink a large glass of water after getting up

Your body loses fluids overnight. Make up for this loss with a large glass of warm water.

DAY 2 – Treat yourself to your favorite flowers

What a wonderful feeling it is to have fresh flowers in your home. It's even better when you give them to yourself.

DAY 3 – Drink at least 2 liters of water a day

We often forget to drink. Water is the number one elixir of life. Drink plenty every day; your body will thank you. :)

DAY 4 – Do yoga in the morning or evening

Yoga can give you so much. Treat yourself to an energizing practice in the morning or a calming one in the evening—whatever you're in the mood for.

DAY 5 – Cook something healthy and enjoy it mindfully
